Fairly paid work, brought to the community
Assembly distributes structured piece-rate work through local community hubs, so mothers can earn a stable income around childcare and family — without travelling far or committing to fixed shifts.
What is Torus Assembly?
Assembly is hands-on work you can do from a community hub near home. We collect assembly work from partners, distribute it in clear batches through hub group leaders, and pay a transparent rate for every piece completed to standard. Quality checks, earnings, savings and withdrawals are tracked openly, so every mother knows exactly what she has earned.
Who it's for
- Single mothers who are sole providers and need flexible, reliable income.
- Women who prefer structured, rules-based work that fits around family life.
- Communities with a local hub and a trusted group leader.

Frequently asked — Torus Assembly
Torus Assembly is structured, fairly paid piece-rate work distributed to members through local community hubs. Members complete simple assembly tasks, such as cable assembly, at a hub close to home, and are paid a transparent rate for every piece that passes quality checks, with savings built in alongside earnings.
Assembly is designed for single mothers who are sole providers and need flexible, reliable income around childcare and family. Members register once, provide the required documents, and are approved before receiving work, which keeps the programme fair, safe and accountable for everyone in the hub.
Work is collected from partners and distributed in clear batches through each community hub. A group leader hands out the work, shows members what good quality looks like, and records how many pieces each member completes. Work is collected and returned at the hub, so members do not travel far.
Members are paid a fixed rate for every piece that passes quality checks, so pay reflects the work completed. Rates are shown transparently and can vary by task type.
Once completed work passes quality checks, earnings are calculated automatically and credited to the member's in-app wallet. Members can withdraw to a registered bank account, subject to a minimum amount and a short processing time. Every credit, saving and withdrawal is visible in the member's transaction history.
Quality is checked in two steps. The hub group leader does a first check, then a sample of each batch is checked centrally by the Torus team. This protects the rate for everyone and keeps standards consistent. If a batch does not meet standard, it is returned for re-inspection.
No prior experience is needed. The group leader shows each member exactly how a task should be done and what quality is expected. The work is designed to be learnable and carried out from the community hub, so members do not need special equipment or a workplace of their own.
Yes. Savings are built into Assembly. A small, optional portion of earnings can go into personal savings automatically, and hubs can earn a group savings bonus for consistent completion. The aim is to help members build a financial buffer over time, not just earn for today.
Yes. Documents provided at registration, such as identity and bank details, are stored securely, and access is restricted to authorised administrators only. Identity documents are not visible from the member app after submission. Financial data is protected in line with Malaysian data protection requirements.
A prospective member registers through the Torus site, provides the required documents, and waits for approval. Once approved, the community hub group leader brings her into the next available batch of work.
